The microwave has fixed wheels which you place the plate on.More often than not the plate shakes off the wheels,spilling food all in the microwave,which ofcourse needs cleaning.I have RA & find this most inconvenient.As soon as I can afford another,this microwave is going to the tip,where it belongs.You also get steam coming out of the door during cooking.I would never buy any AKAI again,total rubbish.I have never known a microwave like this one.
