Update by user Oct 04, 2019 Red Tag.ca has said when you use your miles to bring down the cost you are out of luck with the price drop guarantee even though I spend thousands of my own money to cover the balance of the cost that my airmiles did not cover . When there is no government legisaltion these people get away with ripping you off I am tired of being screwed and ripped off I say go elsewhere when shopping because in the long run you will be screwed as they set their own rules Airmiles and RedTag.ca Update by user Oct 04, 2019 Red Tag .ca vacations also is involved as if you go to their website you will see price guarantee where if the price drops you can claim the difference however if you use your miles to book travel to bring the price of travel down for you the Airmile member this discount will not apply even a large amount of cash is still needed to pay the total amount of the package vacation if you do not have enough miles to cover the total cost, however my point is it still cost a lot of hard earned money and so why should the price guarantee not cover this. Do not even trust Red Tag because they play their own rules and both Airmile and Reg Tag Vacations will screw you anyway they can and have their own set of rules. Buyer Beware the customer does not come first so why book with them I say wait before you book until your date is closer to when you want to go because the price will drop and if cheaper using airmiles and Red Tag your are not protected on price drop and they will not lift a finger to resolve this and poof you are screwed as they do not care .. Original review posted by user Oct 02, 2019 Over the last few years the Air Mile Group will try and screw you anyway they can be warned when booking a package vacation they transfer you to the Red tag site to book your vacation however while you load the reg tag booking page and start to fill the form out and you run into a problem and call the reg tag phone number wioth a problem they will tell you they can not help and are not allowed to help you as per Air Miles. This happened to me and you will see on the Red tag site prices are guaranteed however if the price drops you are stuck with the higher price and Air Miles told me they did not have that deal when I booked even that it is on the red tag site they (Air Miles ) directed me to when I booked my vacation and we are onyx members and have been for years it does not matter to them at all so do not trust these incompetent fools they found a way to screw the members when points no longer expire which did not matter to us as we are onyx mambers and points do not expire . They increased the points you need find ways to charge you more and also with flying on low season lets say 3000 points well if it is a busy place to fly they will charge you 8000 to 9000 more makes no sense in low season or will not have seats available a farch folks (crooks) and this was in an internal letter which they denied and now has come true.I tried to deal with them with emails back and forth and I get the same *** I spent lots of money with the companies that offer Airmiles and still the companies thay offer the miles with your money spent not just mine because I also reached out to them and still no one cares because I am only one. I say to everyone we have been a member for years over 25 years and still they could not care so with more and more stop shopping at these places that offer Airmiles and only then will they get it, we have started to faze out shopping where airmiles is offered and soon we will no longer use any company that deal with them numbers only can stop airmiles *** and their lies to screw you and I the consumer but with numbers we can rid these crooks and stop being ripped off. I can say in the past we were able to call and speak and even use more miles at final payment however they also stopped this pratice over the last 9 months by changing travel partners .I have found a different program that you can even speak with if there is a problem on line booking with no black out dates at all and treat you and I like customers we are .
