A Technician was sent to our home to fix our AC. He called Choice and they denied the claim. I decided to accept the service and the cost was $500. We told the Technician that we would pay to have the work completed. He then said he didn't take credit cards so we couldn't get the work done and had to pay a $85.00 service charge but the work didn't get done because we were not aware that the company didn't accept credit cards. I called Choice customer service to share this concern. They said the Technician can accept whatever payments they want. I do get that BUT Choice should share this with customers and state this when a claim is made. I have never had a Technician from Choice who didn't take credit cards. I gave away $85.00 and I still have the problem and I have to get another Technician to come out and fix the problem. I was on the phone for almost 30 minutes with someone with a strong accent whic was hard to understand. I asked for a number to call someone in authority but he wouldn't share the number and kept putting me on hold while he spoke to a supervisor who said they will call me back in 24 hours. Hopefully, they follow through. Very disappointing to wait for 2 days in the midst of the summer heat for a Technician to arrive and then not get the problem resolved.
