Its been a little over four years, and despite the evidence in my favor, Allegheny Health Network won't amend or retract a false patient access coordinator electronic record. The Electronic record suggests that I didn't show insurance or ID at the registration desk, but I wasn't the patient. My wife was the patient and she did show insurance and ID. I have been trying to get AHN to do the right thing and amend the record, but they won't engage in correspondence with me. I am wanting an oversight board to summon me to appear to finally put this issue straight. These big companies have big pockets and very rarely are they in a position to correct their mistakes even though Federal law states that hospitals must maintain truthful and accurate records.
