AFS (Absolute) is a Payday Loan Collection Scam

I received a call from 866-816-9955 AFS saying I took out a payday loan in 2012 and the check bounced so they are filing fraud charges if I didn't pay. I called back and Jordyn answered saying that if I didn't pay they would fax documents to my work and home and file the charges. I knew I didn't take out the loan or bounce a check in 2012, however didn't want a fraud charge against me so I paid 200 of the 550.00 that I "alledgedly" owned. They emailed me a payment arrangement but I refused to sign it until I received the original documents proving that I really took out the loan. I receive a call back from Jordyn from 855-209-4957 saying they will go ahead and fax over the charges they are filing etc. Of course they didn't because it is a scam. Don't give these people any money no matter how intimidating they are.
