Advertising and subscription terms smell like a scam

2

I was sucked into an advertisement for Amora coffee in order to get a free coffee maker. However, upon signing up for what I was made to believe was a SINGLE purchase of coffee, it turned out to be a subscription for 10 lbs of coffee - none of which was explained in the advertisement (which is what most people look at). It was in the "terms and conditions" of the order, which is also not clearly labeled, but there obviously to protect themselves if someone tries to sue. This is deceptive marketing at its best, and an outright scam at its worst for unsuspecting customers who only read the advertisement, like me. Lesson learned! User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY! Their advertisements are intentionally set to trick you into committing to subscribtion purchases that last until you decide to call and cancel them!!!
