Adaptive headlights

We own a 2014 BMW X3. We had it serviced at Husker Auto in Lincoln NE on schedule everytime from 2014 to 2020. In 2016 the car was in an air bag deployment accident which required body work to the front end. In March of 2019, after going through the car wash, one of the adaptive headlights failed. Husker Auto said the cover was off the headlight and water damaged the highlight. This was a $900+ repair. In June of 2019, the same thing happened to the other headlight. Another $900+ repair. Husker Auto tried to blame the body work done 3 years earlier. But now, both headlights had been replaced by Husker Auto. Then in February 2020, both headlights were water damaged and, low and behold, both covers were off the headlights. So clearly, either the technician is not putting the cover on correctly, or the design is faulty causing the cover to fall off. I have now lost 4 headlights due to the cover falling off (or never being installed in the first place. No worries, BMW warranties its replacement parts right? Not in this case. Because there was water damage, even though it was caused by either faulty design or service, the warranty was denied. I elevated the claim to BMW figuring they would stand behind their customers. However, I learned they stand behind their crooked service departments who clearly either intentionally left the covers off in order to gain future repairs, or simply did not install the covers properly. I was denied by BMW even though I had 4 headlights get water damage in less than one year. I repeatedly asked the service manager at Husker auto to return my calls, but she never did. User's recommendation: Do not purchase a BMW. Do not get a car serviced at Husker Auto.
