ACB Receivables Management

The company is really, really bad! Here is my story: My wife went to Emergency Services at Jersey Shore Medical, and was charged US$138. Jersey Shore never sent the bill to our insurance company and claimed that they sent the bill to me which I never received. Jersey Shore later sent the bill to ACB Receivables Management, and I got a bill from ACB. I immediately called ACB and got managers from ACB, Jersey Shore and my insurance company on the phone. They told me that I only needed to pay less than US$20, and the rest should be paid by my insurance company. I paid my portion right the way, and was told that they won't add the bill to my credit report. Unfortunately, I just learned that they reported the bill to my credit report. By the way, I did pay another US$8 after my insurance company paid its portion but it was not my fault. They calculated wrong on the phone. In my review, both ACB and Jersey Shore Medical Associates did not act professionally, and they lied to me all the time until I paid the last penny. ACB is even worse. They never listened to my explanation; they just hanged up the phone whenever I called. Please be AWARE.
