A shitiest Internet service in Canada is Acanac. Of cause it goes after Bell and Rogers but it is not less frustrating. Acanac as any other Internet provider is buying bandwidth from somewhere else and basically can only add it's service in terms of tech support, customer care etc. This is here where Acanac shows it's ugly face. Unprofessional techsupport will drive you crazy. In my case the guys left us without internet for weeks bowing towards Bell from whom they obviously buying bandwith. The matter is that Acanac is using Bell infrastructure but has no controll over this infrustructure and related issues so you may expect a Bell technician visit for days sitting without Internet. On top of it days after days you will listen to Acanac mentally handycupped "techsupport" will keep telling you that there is no ticket in their system (though they have created the ticket a day before) and instead of expecting a technician (who's visit they confirmed yesterday) you must to bring your modem to their office. Being an engineer in the field of electronics myself (and knowing that my modem is allright) it's a big fun to understand finally with what lousy people you deal with. So, wanna have days and weeks with no Internet ...subscribe for Acanac "service". In addition I would say whatever provider in Canada you take you anyway gonna get a stone age quality if Internet (in trems of upload/download speed). Upload speeds of 1-10 Mbit/sec is a developing country level.
