Unbeknownst to me I had a possum living in my attic. He couldn't get out and in trying to extricate himself tore up a lot of my Fiberglas duct work. After entering the duct work he found his way into my AC unit and when I turned the unit on I heard a loud thumb which I imagine was instant death. Not knowing all of this until three days later when the smell of rotting flesh permeated the house, I called Aztil. They were on the job within hours, found the carcass and removed it. The removal of the motor showed that it had burned out with the stress of the enclosed animal which then needed to be replaced. My AC unit was sixteen years old and living on borrowed time, so a new unit was suggested. I was told that they were not sure if a new motor could be found to accommodate a sixteen year old AC unit. I've have had a maintenance agreement with Aztil for over twenty years and always felt that they have dealt with me in a fair manner. With my maintenance agreement discount, I'm out the big bucks for a new handler, compressor, motor, plus extensive attic duct repair. Part of living in South Florida is that you cannot live without air conditioning, so I have to say that I'm pleased with the fast, efficient and expensive service that I received from Aztil. I feel that if I'm going to get the best service and equipment that I'm going to have to pay for it. Through the years I have been working closely with Mark *** first as a service technician and now as an office/phone consultant. I have always felt confidant in his sincerity and honesty with all of our dealings. Next week I'm joining PETA
