I purchased my TIVO Bolt + and 3 Minis on June 17, 2017 for a total cost of over $1,300. Virtually from Day 1 I have experienced problems with the devices and the services. When I contacted the services representatives, they were all foreign and always apologized. I am not bigoted and I realize every company has foreign support, but they were extremely incompetent and there was always an issue in obtaining support. Several times they blamed my cable company and Internet service provider (wrongfully). I would have to hang up and contact a different person that sometimes proved knowledgeable. Several units had to be replaced and the company always wanted to charge a replacement fee and shipping, because the warranty is good for only 90 days. The last straw is that the main unit completely failed -- less than 2 years later -- and again they seek to charge for replacement and shipping. I just spent over 1 hour on the phone, and finally a "manager" waived the replacement charge, but I still have to pay $55 for 1 day shipping, otherwise they will waive the fee for standard shipping which will be 4-6 days. Note, I will have no television service for that period because this is the main unit. If I can save just 1 person the aggravation I have endured for the past 18+ months this post is well worth it. I have never posted a review and this is my first post, but this product, company and service is so terrible that I am compelled to warn everyone about this service. -Martin (Princeton, NJ)
