A tooth that is not mine was found in a white meat chicken taquito from Delimex
Original review updated by user Nov 26, 2020 I purchased a 23 count box of Delimex / Kraft white meat chicken taquitos from the Wal Mart Market in Turlock Ca. on 09-15-2020. A couple days after I purchased them I got them out of the freezer and opened the Delimex box that they were packaged in and opened the sealed plastic bag that contained the taquitos and microwaved 3 taquitos at a time rapped in a paper towel. I microwaved a total of 12 taquitos. After they cooled for a short time I proceeded to eat them and on the 5Th taquito that I bit into I noticed something hard in about the last bite of that taquito. I spit the taquito out on the paper plate and could see the bite mark made from my teeth in the taquito and then pulled the taquito apart and there was a dental crown which appeared to be silver/ gold in color and had part of the tooth that it was on in the underside of the crown. I contacted Delimex / Kraft and it took them about a month and a half for them to get back to me after numerous calls from me to them without a call back from them. My problem is I do not have any silver or gold crowns in my mouth!! I do have to crowns on my front teeth from injuries from a vehicle accident and they are white. The last phone call I got from Kraft they told me that this is an isolated incident and offered me $40.00 dollars worth of coupon's for Kraft frozen foods to just forget about this. I wander how long it would take the person who decided that it is an isolated incident to just forget about having somebody they don't know tooth in their mouth? I am sending this to everybody and posting on social media to prevent anybody else from going through what I have gone through. Thanks, Jim Kirkpatrick
