My 74 year old husband was just hired by SRT as a truck driver. He has absolutely no OTR experience, having attended a driving school nearly one year ago. All previous attempts at driving over the past year resulted in him being fired due to his poor driving skills. He is nearly deaf and does not know how to use a GPS properly. Not sure how he passed his DOT physical with many health conditions including high blood pressure, gout, arthritis, shoulder replacement, abdominal aortic aneurysm, morbidly obese with BMI over 50. He was totally and permanently disabled in 1993 by Social Security due to a back condition. Yet, he is employed now with SRT! I guess that says it all about SRT!
