Visited local office for mammogram today. Checked in at front desk. No temperature was taken. Seating was around 3 feet not 6 feet distancing. During exam tech had minimum mask protection. Being three to six inches from ones face while positioning was upsetting under those circumstances. Tech did add additional mask to the one she was wearing after voicing my concerns. Spoke with office manager who could not give me an explanation for not taking temperatures. Expressed my concerns that this put everyone at risk. Very distressing experience. Recommend Simon med initiate taking temperatures and use of mask with shields for mammograms. User's recommendation: Find out what the CDC protocol is for your exam. Call the provider and ask what they are and are not doing.
