I'm usually not big on writing reviews; however, my experience with procesing my GAP claim had to be one of the worse. First, the customer service reps were very unprofessional and not to mention very unhelpful. I turned in more documents for this company to process my claim, then needed to by my house. Not to mention, whenever I emailed the company or called to check the status on my claim, I was always told it was in review. At one point, I was told my claim was being denied because I did not turn in Letter from the dealership stating my refund amount for my Service Agreement. I tried explaining to the rep my service agreement had expired; however, she basically argued me down that I still have a warranty on my car for 30,000 miles. At one point, I had to send a very unpleasant email explaining to them my warranty was for 3 years or 30,000 miles and if my car was 39 months, then the warranty was in fact expired. Finally, they accepted my response and my claim went back into review. Back into review means, the claim process basically starts from Day 1 and you have to wait all over again. Needless to say, I paid the two months that I had left on my vehicle, which my insurance didn't pay, because Gap was supposed to cover this portion, all to receive a denial letter stating they were not responsible for my remaining balance. Honestly, I could care less whether they paid or not paid - what I do care about is the customer service provided to me during this whole process. I knew from the first day when filing my claim I was going to have issues with this company, and Lord knows I was right. I would never purchase any type of product from this company. Innovative Aftermarket Systems - YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER. Don't forget its the customers that keep you in business; if you don't have any customers backing you up - you certainly wont be in business long. THIS COMPANY IS A BIG SCAM.
