A BANK TO NEVER USE AGAIN

I am writing here to share my experience I had with this bank (OBC) in Phagwara. I dont know where else this bank got branches. I want to alert people before getting in relation with this bank. I opened my sister's Policy in their bank a few years ago. I am a Hong Kong Citizen. I went back to India in January 2018, went to their bank and asked to withdraw the funds. I gave no answer. My parents visited their bank daily for the money because we had financial problems and were depending on the Policy Funds to organize my older sister's wedding. I got a policy in their bank. They asked me to open an NRI account because I am HONG KONG CITIZEN. My parents went ahead and created the NRI account. We still got no response on funds. Then in early February, they informed us that we had to post our policy documents to their another branch, we got the mailing address and immediately posted. We then came back Hong Kong after spending two months in India, visiting the bank almost everyday for OUR OWN MONEY. We called them to inqurie about the funds, the Manager in Phagwara told us that their head office have not responded them yet on our policy funds withdrawl. After waiting for a few weeks, we found their relative office number and directly called them. THEY INFORMED US THAT THEY NEVER RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION/ EMAIL/ DOCUMENT from the Phagwara branch on our POLICY. This is what made me crazy. A few weeks before they replied me asking me for more documents. I couldnt understand what some documents were. I asked them twice and UNTIL NOW NO ONE BOTHERERD REPLYING ME.
