A $26K rip-off and almost $5700 in damage due to a leak!

McParton not only failed to get the required permits and inspection when replacing our roof -- 15 months later the leak cause by his negligent work accumulated and broke through out kitchen ceiling. The job required mold remediation, replacement of a section of the roof, replacement of the wall and half the kitchen ceiling. We had no kitchen for 50 days. We are out $500 for the deductible and his shoddy workmanship caused a total of nearly $5700 in damage. He still had not complied with his contract under which he was supposed to get proper drainage on our roof and eliminate all of the pooling. Construction and Industries did nothing to help us. It was clear he'd been there before and was not afraid that they would force him to use his bond to replace our roof with a properly permitted, inspected and constructed one. They let him get away with doing a complete roof removal and rebuild job without a permit or inspection. The damage comes if we ever try to sell unless we put a new roof on the house.
