911healthshop.com refuses return of product that harmed my gums
911healthshop.com sold me an oral hygiene product called ORA MD. These peppermint/spearmint/almond oil mouth drops (used in place of toothpaste) are touted to improve gum health. After reading a number of positive testimonials, I ordered the product from 911healthshop.com via amazon.com. After using as instructed for three days, my gums began to throb almost constantly. At first, I thought the circulation was being increased and that it was a good thing. However, after two more days, one of my front teeth felt loose and I subsequently noticed that my gums had receded, allowing this to happen. I don't yet know what the outcome of this problem will be, but I think I am at least entitled to a refund of my purchase price. But, 911healthshop.com refuses to grant a refund because the product has been opened and used. It is true that this company does state in their return policy that they cannot accept opened products. If it were a case of just disliking or changing my mind about the product, I could understand. In this case, however, something should be done about a product that actually caused harm to my mouth and/or health. BEWARE of ORA MD ("the mouth doctor") drops and also BEWARE of ordering from 911healthshop.com.
