Went in a month ago with the complaint of my car shaking while driving on the free way and making noises while turning in the parking lot. Week 1: shock & strut total reassembly w/ adjustment Week 2/ same problem. Turning noises got worse: Replaced CV joint. Week 3: problem continued after 24 hours: Tires balanced and oil applied to joints. Turning noise stopped Week 4: shaking on freeway persisted told by friends to have breaks, ball joints and routers checked. I am a college student. I have spent more than I make in a month to fix this problem. I have been told each time that my car will be better. 2nd week I was promised it would drive 100 times better. Week 3 that it is mechanically safe to drive. I have spent 8 hours on the bus and nearly $80 dollars on Uber fares. I am at an unpaid internship to finish my degree. I would simply like to discuss getting a discount on rental cars or a shuttle service like Uber so I can continue to live while my car is back in the shop.
