We bought this washer in July2019. I am the only person that uses this washer and the hinge on the lid has broken 3 times. I am waiting for a new lid since October 7th. I was told it was back ordered until Nov 12, last week they said it was backordered until Nov 25th. Evidently I am not the only person with this issue. I think Maytag should have a recall on this washer or refund my money so I could buy a washer that would work. This is the worst washer I have ever owned and I'm 76 years old. Don't buy this piece of junk. User's recommendation: Don't buy this washer - not sure about any other Maytag - first time to ever buy a Maytag and the last time.
