I was cold called by the 360 Invest group recently and I thought I'd do some research on them before I committed to anything; thank God I did!! Here's what I discovered. 1. They are actually based in Marbella, Spain, not in London as they claim on the phone and they use an internet based phone system that gives a UK caller ID. They do have an office in London but it's only used to meet clients face to face, so that they can mis-lead them into thinking they are a City of London Broker. 2. The company is masterminded by a Shaun Logan (also known as Shaun Rumsey). Shaun was responsible for a massive boiler room scam in Madrid and has faced criminal charges over this and other shady activities in both the UK and Spain. The Madrid scam was rumoured to have cost investors in excess of $100,000,000USD. 3. 360 Invest Group do not sign contracts with their staff or take references / carry out due dilligence on them prior to employing them. Consequently a number of their employees have been on the 'spank' circuit for quite some time. 4. They avoid paying tax in Spain or the UK by paying their employees in cash. 5. They employ 'hard' / agressive sales techniques and pay zero attention to the FSA standards, including KYC (Know Your Client). This information has been gleaned from independent sources. I would recommend avoiding this criminal outfit at all costs!
