357 Lifetime Warranty Lack of Repair

I sent my 357 revolver to Taurus in January. I was told 12 weeks. It took them until March to finally say they received my gun. They ordered parts that are on backorder in May. It is now October, and they still do not have the parts and have no idea when they will be here from Brazil. I have sat on hold for over and hour only to be disconnected. I waited for at least 45 minutes each time I was able to talk to someone. All they could tell me is they have no idea when the parts will be here. I have asked to speak with a supervisor and was told I was talking to one because they are now required to answer calls. I asked how they can own the factory that is sending the parts and not know when they will be shipped. I suggested that maybe they would have better customer service and better repair times if they would move their factory from Brazil to the US. I will NEVER purchase another Taurus again, I will tell anyone to NEVER purchase one either. I have a Charter Arms 38 revolver and It had a lifetime warranty we had in back in less than a month. I am only giving them a 1 star because I can't rate them anything less. User's recommendation: Buy anything but a Taurus.
