Not that it matters to anyone, but is it time to quit memberships at 24hr fitness? This Lakewood club is broken beyond belief. So many machines are broken. The place is filthy .. The bathrooms are torn apart and dirty and who knows if the pool and sauna area are being cared for? The dirt and mold on the floors has been the same for months. There are so many cardio machines that either have no sound or no channel selection or just plain don’t work it’s impossible to find one when you want that works.. Just yesterday it took 4 tries to find a machine functional enough to use,but without sound. The gym has been over sold, so it’s always crowded. That may explain why the mgmt doesn’t seem to care. 24hr has resources and now they need a team of people to get things up to speed. I’m very close to quitting my membership. Am I alone in this feeling? Should they be reported to the health dept? Is there a legal argument for suing them for breech of their contract under the terms of membership. I’m sure other people complain but what could possibly explain why they refuse to fix anything ?
