.22 Victory is poor quality

1

Update by user Jun 11, 2019 I sent the gun in "one more time". I think it's fixed now. That being said, I can now trade it with a clear conscience. A customer shouldn't have to send these in multiple times for repair. If they truly tested them after repair, they would know there was more work to be done. Original review posted by user May 14, 2019 Bought a S&W Victory .22. Would not cycle any brand or type of ammo reliably. Sent it in for repair. Three weeks later it came back no better for the trip. Paperwork said the polished some parts and replaced the extractor. I think these "repairs" are the standard response when one of these is sent in. I have found many reviews where customers had to send them in multiple times before the were really repaired. Quality control at S&W has gone way down over the years. They used to make quality firearms. If you don't want to jump on the "send it in and wait" merry go round, stay away from these.
