2-3 day “so called shipping”

Spent in excess of $85.00. Chose the 2-3 day shipping option for an extra $10.00, since this was a gift to my daughter. The item arrived in 7 days. At the time of the order, I submitted my zip code but there was no notification indicating that it would be more than 2-3 days to receive the item. There was a mention that "since we want to make sure your order is correct, there is no guarantee that it will be shipped in the time, as indicated." E-mailed customer service, stating that I felt I deserved a refund on the expedited shipping cost, since it was not indeed a 2-3 day shipping, and there was no concern or offer to refund. The response was like a generated computer response, clearly stating that they would not compensate at all. I have a friend that also order the same item (personalized) and she just chose economy shipping. Her item arrived in the same amount of time. I work in a large hospital as a nurse. I have spread the word of the lack of integrity in this company and will make it my personal mission to inform other nurses before they invest anything with this company.
