fI have sereral ryobi garden tools two leaf blowers hedger trimeer and the above 18 volt stringtrimmer/edger. I my stringtrimmer last week overheated,I could smell smoke and the string holder plastic melted and fell off. the battery seems ok, no problrmm but now no way to attach new string as the holder all plastic melted. Oh well its all in a days work I guess. fortunately your products are very reasonable. So glad Home depot keeps them in stock. Harry Fisher User's recommendation: I ALWAYS RECOMMEND RYOBI.
