10 year battery dies in less then 2 years

1

Model no. P1210, activated and installed 9-21-2019 had the low battery alarm start sounding 2-1-2021. The only way to stop it was by deactivating it, and now, of course, it must go to the garbage. I will not buy First Alert again. Sadly I have others in my house, so I guess I need to go buy another brand with a replaceable battery so I can actually have alarms in my house. User's recommendation: Buy an alarm that can have batteries replaced.
