Exaggerated prices even than the original ticket

I have booked a flight on Trip which showed to have double the price on the original airway website. I was shocked by the experience that I will not use Skyscanner or Trip again to book my tickets. User’s recommendation: check prices on the main airline before going to Skyscanner.

I have booked through Trip.com for 3 round trip tickets before the pandemic to travel from PEK to SEA which costed USD$3000 in total.
