Working in a gambling establishment.
I have been working in gaming halls for many years. Everything has always been close, every job has its pros and cons, but lately everything has changed dramatically. We (bartenders) work in day shifts. By law, we are entitled to a paid 2h for rest during this period. Usually we already find a free moment when we can relax, although as soon as the customer arrives, he must be served immediately. Everyone is used to it and everything would be fine on the trail, but an innovation has been introduced in the company to control the observance of the customer service standard - secret customers. Accordingly, a system of penalties for non-compliance with the standard has been introduced, where salaries are deducted from 100 dollars only because when the secret client entered the hall, the bartender was not at the bar and did not say goodbye, because he was in the facilities or ate, which is a completely basic human need. Where do my 2 free hs stay? How can I rest during this time ( eat to the slaughter), eat, call the child home or brush my teeth, if I can be deducted from my salary!? Is it legal at all? Dear alfor management! 60 million profit per year? Or how much there? Maybe enough money to dig even from employees? Why not motivate employees to fill the standard with a bonus system? Then you wonder that even in New York there is a shortage of employees. There is video surveillance in each hall- after they judge the employee quality of work, rather than one customer coming together as a lottery ticket for a successful or unsuccessful bartender.
