Car in poor technical condition
Reading the reviews here, I realized that we are very lucky because we are a house to them the machine twice. : D For the first time we are taking a rental bus (2019 Opel Vivaro). Since I have experience with car rentals, I have already read the contract properly on the spot (some points are quite absurd, for example, in case of car destruction you have to pay something like 5000 USD regardless of the car. Values). : D Ok, let's say this point, they reassure me that it will be ok. Either well. The car needs urgency, the holiday time, the price is good, so terribly do not want to look for anything else. Then - let's look at the bus, the Check engine light is on, which I point out and they answer - it's nothing. I'm okay - we're 4, 000 km ahead, but hopefully it'll be fine. : D It is further revealed that one place does not have a seat belt! It is good that we were not nine, because penalties are not small in Europe. In general, the bus seemed to work, but comfortable - with reclining seats, heating the passengers, the engine powerful, consuming little. We left large pieces, somewhere halfway something happened to the car - it turned off and refused to work. On the way back to Poland at night, we stayed on the high-speed highway because the car simply hid. Call them (hat off that 4:00 in the morning picked up the handset). That says we may be out of fuel so we get to the gas station and the valley, maybe the sensor is showing incorrectly! Because if it turns out that the fuel is really out of stock, then we will have to pay for the tow truck and everything else related to it. Seriously?! : D Imagine the situation - on the high-speed highway the decks went 6km to the tank and back, the slow fuel, of course, did not jump. The guy from the rental says - well, if the air bubble is already pulled, stop something so that you pull it in! Needless to say, stop on a high-speed highway, no matter where you drag again! : D But now the company is crazy for us - we also tried to stop! Of course, no one did anything and in the end, however, after the testimonials (here the conversation had already sold in pretty high tones) rent to the insurers and deliver the tow truck. Insurers wake up only at 8:00 in the morning. Meanwhile, angry Polish police officers came to us and stood behind us with beacons all the time the tow truck arrived. At least we felt safer. :) I will not comment on the service - the poles work very slowly and offered us diagnostics only in the evening. FOR DIAGNOSTICS ONLY! We started insisting that we were very tired, not sleeping (we also had a child) and got to the diagnostics around 14:00. In the end, it turned out that some gypsy had broken it, made it and we were happy at home. We did not imagine to indicate the rental data during the repair work, therefore we did not want to refund this amount, but as such we are not unaware of the accounting and conditional insistence. Deposit returned, repairs returned, everything cool. :) After a while your own mistake will find a litter for a while while your own service. Well, if there were already such things, then let's take the same car driver - what to look for a lot there. However, there was a problem solved, all right, then already with it should be ok. Remind us of the damage to golfers who grabbed our homes, filmmakers, I discovered that the door doesn't close, but now the word is that it's rolling so much! The cabin also has exhaust gases. Okay - that's it. On the same evening, the oil light comes on. Call me, they say, to add oil. Okay. Next time I start, the light goes on again. And without going far, I discovered that the oil brutally PIL. Call them, they collect the car, repair it, in the evening chill back, say everything chill - it's not your fault, keep driving. At the end of the lease the deposit was returned and there was no problem. So, let's have adventures with this company. All in all - reading other people's stories, I see that we are lucky, but the attitude is not the best, talk to them calmly, but convincingly. The biggest problem is that cars are only properly completed and repaired when there is no way out.
