Artificially delaying deliveries
Waiting for shipment from Germany. It was sent in Germany with dhl, but we have a miserable express mail. Hoping for faster delivery, the price of a postal item is more than 2x more expensive than a regular postal item. 1. The consignment traveled to Melbourne for at least as long as by regular mail. I have already started to get interested in German colleagues, what happened to it and where it disappeared. 2. At around 8 in the morning I receive a card in the mailbox with the same date that I have not been home, so the shipment has not been delivered. The door to my apartment is right next to the mailbox. Of course, me and my whole family were home all morning. 3. The same morning around 9 call to the indicated phones to say that I am not happy about such nonsense. The answer to me is that you are to blame. Their courier had been the day before,saw a closed staircase and left. The card is tossed by an ordinary postman. Ask - what next? Answer - the courier can the next day from 11 am to 4 pm. You can no longer today, because all the couriers have already gone somewhere. I ask, can't I go after myself? The answer is yes, somewhere near the airport they are the only nest in their office. I say that time from 11 to 16 is not the best you can want. Answer that there is a problem then. Holding shipments for only 10 days. 4. In the end, we agreed that they would forward the shipment to the regular mail, which would send me the usual invitation and I would be able to pick it up at a time that would normally be convenient for me. Here the whole situation is written in a few lines, but if you are waiting for something urgent, paying extra money for faster delivery, then you will understand that any unnecessary delay is very unpleasant. The express mail system cannot be called anything other than stupid. Almost all residential houses have lockable putty rooms. The phone was listed with my address on the package. I didn't even call. But even if I called then between 11 and 16 I would definitely not be home, like most people. So they keep your urgent property for at least 3 days due to their nonsense. Day - if you can release the next day and from 11 to 16 be at your address then... Who knows what then... But in my case have to wait for an invitation from the regular mail. 4. Day - if the post office manages to prepare an invitation then you receive it and you can receive your case. Everything happens so fast, if there is no holiday in the meantime. I will never use express mail again!
