Adams Reading Room

During the government shutdown the Library remained open to the public. They are part of the legislative branch. Makes sense. What doesnt make sense is the LOC’s ultra conservativism. The cloak room and reading room entrance staff are really redundant which is why they tend to be so nasty, the women especially. Their tasks are routine repetitive and their functions easily replaced by robots or machines.
