Cushioned dining chairs invert when sat upon

Purchased Taos trestle table and chairs. Ladderback chairs with cushioned seats, no support under cushion which depresses into frame when sat upon by 118 lb lady. I Refuse to retrifit new chairs for design flaw, sent them back. Found nicer chairs that match well at a better price.
