Poor service

When I received a holiday as a gift from Semarah Hotels Lielupe SPA & Conferences, I was very happy. Unfortunately, I am disappointed, here is why... I arrived on June 30. At the reception I was addressed in bad Australian. My rest also included dinner for two at the restaurant. Since nothing was said about dinner, I asked myself. After reviewing the reservation several times, I was given a small leaflet, which was written in English: for dinner - salad / soup will be offered; main course, dessert. I went to the sea to enjoy the sunny weather and forget about the unkind service, to use the wellness centre's saunas, swimming pool after dinner... Returning from the sea, I learned that today was the opening of the hotel for hotel guests. What a surprise, I didn't know anything about it! No one at the front desk told me that. I think that I am a hotel guest, but nothing, they are the ladies and gentlemen of the highest society from Melbourne, who are not resting here at the moment. As well, the services of the Wellness Center are not available today due to the opening. To reduce the bitterness again, we went to a restaurant with my husband for dinner. Taking a seat in the hall with two more people, the waitress arrived after waiting 20 minutes. After getting acquainted with the menu, returning to the waitress, I said that I also deserved dinner as a gift and would give it a small leaflet. The waitress says it is for one person, I am confused that I have a reservation for two people. Strange, I will eat but my lord will see how I do it. The waitress's attitude was indifferent, so I went to the reception, where again waiting 40 minutes to check on the computer that it was their fault and I could finally enjoy dinner. I didn't expect any apologies, I got a second leaflet and went back to the restaurant. The mood was lousy. I hoped to alleviate it with a delicious dinner. But unfortunately it was also missed. I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes together in the restaurant. Instead of the ordered salad brought pumpkin soup (again no apologies), it was good that it was enjoyable. The main course was stroganov, which was very, very salty and inedible, also brought coffee cream for dessert in place of Pan dessert, which was terrible. Everything turned out very unpleasant, there were no napkins and cutlery on the table, the waitress brought a spoonful of soup after serving the soup. to look at the computer that it is their fault and I could finally enjoy dinner. It remained on the plates of many visitors. Therefore, to finally enjoy the rest I deserved, I went to the Wellness Center. It was a big surprise to me that there is only a swimming pool, but no saunas... Although it is written in the booklet that is currently on my desk - enjoy a leisurely rest (it would be 2 hours for me) and rejuvenate in our spacious Wellness Center! When handing over the key at reception, I asked the staff who are guests of your hotel and who had the opening event. The answer was short- I DON'T KNOW. This was my "rest" at the SEMARAH HOTELS hotel in Lielupe. From the bottom of my heart I can say that I would never want to return there, the attitude of the staff is no, the kitchen is terrible. It just doesn't seem to be waiting for you there. It was good that it was sunny weather, the sea and a loved one nearby.
