Logs stuck together

I literally had to pull the logs apart, they were stuck together in my 9 log box I bought at Costco. After lighting one and it went out after 1/2 hour, lit another one. Faulty heater

When the heater turns on it flashes the set temperature 10 times then goes to 99 and won’t turn on. I am not pissed, I would like to know if it is fixable.

Is there any Teflon in your heaters?

I have a new parrot and wanted to be sure my heaters were safe to use with birds as heated Teflon is toxic to them. Pleased to hear that they are safe as I have always used them daily in cold months.
