Terribly unkind, indifferent, lazy staff
I chose to marry a husband in the Pardaugava registry office. Initially, documents had to be submitted. Problems started already there. The staff had all gathered in one room where they drank coffee. They had to be disturbed, which of course angered them. Then you see, we stayed in the office for a long time, where we had to fill in an application for marriage. The employee said that he was already waiting for the next customer. She had to go to another office to pay, and there was also an angry fury waiting for her - another employee, because she had stopped drinking coffee, she had to open an office where payments had to be made. A month later we had to sort out the last documents again, again the attitude was very sloppy, I didn't explain much and I wasn't heard about how I want to,to have my new last name entered. When we came to receive a certificate on the wedding day, we looked at the prepared documents, asked again about the spelling of the surname, and again I was told about what I ask here again, what I need again. After half a year I came to get a birth certificate there and the same old story was repeated again: all employees drink coffee during work, all offices are closed except where the coffee pot is, and when they are disturbed, everyone is unkind! It's a shame that such employees work in such jobs.
