Poor service, damage
I ordered a corner sofa in an online store, I also paid for delivery. The sofa was delivered after 5 days, late in the evening (around 21). The sofa is wrapped in film. Delivery bus clogged. I can only pull my sofa out of the bus with great effort. The driver is very hurried, because he still has to get back to Melbourne (120 km). When unpacking the product, I found that the screws needed for assembly were missing, as well as one end of the sofa (chipboard) was broken from the fasteners. I submitted a claim to the Complaints Department (7 days had passed since delivery). After 18 days, I received an answer from Pty. "ALB" that I am solely responsible that at the time of delivery I was not convinced about the quality of the product and that the screws were placed in the laundry box. But it wasn't there! No matter how hard you search: ) Defects may have occurred during the transportation of the goods, but Pty. "ALB" does not do so and does not take responsibility. Then the question arises, why is a transport fee of 25 AU$ charged on the bill? For what and to whom is it paid if no one takes responsibility? My claim was also rejected on the ground that more than 10 days had elapsed between the delivery of the goods and the submission of the claim, despite the fact that the delivery was 5 days later. that delivered was 5 days later. that delivered was 5 days later. I'm very disappointed with both the service and the quality.
