I planned a trip to Bonnaroo 2020 from Washington State. I opted for the Alianz travel insurance for UNFORSEEN events. Well, COVID happened and cancelled the trip. Apparently the insurance I PAID for doesn’t cover event cancellation. Price/affordability to benefit ratio is ZERO. DO NOT BUY!!! User’s recommendation: DO NOT BUY!!!
My flight was cancelled by Jet Blue due to Covid 19. Allianz does not cover cancelled flights due to the pandemic. Customer service is unhelpful as well. User’s recommendation: Don’t buy this insurance.
