I had a Maytag washer with an agitator.. Absolutely loved it... I just recently purchased a Maytag washer top loader with no agitator.. The worse investment I have ever made.. I will never purchase a top loader again.. My laundry room reaps of mold and mildew because of the washer.. When someone tells me they are purchasing a washer - I will go on a rampage and tell them about this.. This washer is only 1 year old and I am going to get rid of it. And yes, I do take every precaution and use the Allfresh which does not work... Whoever the engineer who designed it - did a poor job.. Totally DISSATISFIED with this Maytag item..
