Paid for flight using points and have not received my refund for the points I used.

I previously had 100K points and I used 50K for a flight to Los Cabos, Mexico in Nov (Luxe Jazz fest). It has been almost 3 or more months and I have not received my $500 check yet. I have called several times and I've been told that they are sending the check. The last call on 9 Aug 21, supposedly, there is something wrong and they have been trying to reach me; However, the young lady, AIFA, could not tell me what the problem was. First, of all, I could not believe that they would not price match. I am very disappointed and would like to know if there is any recourse that I can take besides getting my check sent to me?
