Arrogant Manager
Tiny gym no atmosphere just average. I was paying 10.99 a month, so, I guess you get what you pay for. I haven't been there in months because I started going to Anytime Fitness. I keep putting off quitting because it was a hassle. (I mean it was only 10.99 a month.) Today I got hit with a $39.99 Annual fee! I moving in a few months so I called to cancel and ask for my 39.99 back since I don't even go there anymore. I was told I couldn't cancel over the phone. You're are expected to go down in person or send them a certified letter. What a joke! I then spoke with some arrogant (bitting my tounge) manager named Danny. This guy thinks hes a freaking lawyer or something trying to educate me on contact law. He starts to lecture me that I am well aware of their 30 day cancellation policy and the annual fee. I'm ashamed to say I lost it! I told him to F-off and hung up on him. Quite frankly, I didn't know about the 30 day notice or the annual fee. Some guy sold me the membership over the phone and I signed some paperwork a few days later. Im pretty sure I didn't read anything, like we all do. I suppose I wouldn't have been so mad if that guy would of had some tact when speaking with me. Instead of being so "you knew what you signed," he should of apologized for the misunderstanding, refunded my damn money or part of it or tried something to remedy the situation instead of coming at me with an oh well. Anyhow, buyer beware read the fine print.
