I ordered an 8 X 8 area rug. When it arrived, it measured 7'8" X 7'8", a full 4 inches short on each side. I called customer service and they insisted that it was a normal variation! My complaint even got escalated to corporate, but they told me the same thing. This is ridiculous. 4 inches is way too much to be off. My night tables were not even due to 2 legs being on the rug, and 2 legs off. Interestingly, many of their rugs on their website have odd dimensions, but this one was advertised as a true 8 X 8. Not acceptable! User's recommendation: Be aware that your rug many vary considerably in size.
