Purchased 2 dimmers from Lutron. First one did not function at all. In speaking with customer service, they confirmed that they had some dimmers with defective switches. They also confirmed my installation was correct. The second Lutron dimmer worked but did not have a wall plate so its just an ugly piece of hardware hanging out of the wall in an otherwise attractive room. I called Lutron and they confirmed this product doesnt come with a decorative wall plate to finish the job (sounds like the cost accounting department is now in charge of product engineering??).
