Ever saw the mobile app that charge?
I have been banking with them for a year and was quite happy with them managing my money. I was considering investing in money orders and went to see the banker for that. The banker mentioned they had a mobile app and asked me if I had a smartphone? That was a ridiculous question as everyone has a smartphone now. Anyway, the manager convinced me the banking and even managing my investments would be so much easier through the use of mobile app, and I downloaded it right when I was in the branch. The manager helped me in setting the app up and I went home happy. I am not sure how that could have happened, but I discovered the app charged me a small fee for using it! I know there are mobile apps that charge money for using them but I did not expect my bank to be launching chargeable applications. Another thing that really hurt me was that the manager never explained to me that the app was subject to pay. Really unexpected and disappointed, considering this to be an unfair approach to trusting customers.
